Renault India has launched the enhanced Kiger RXT (O) range.
Renault has refreshed Kiger’s variant portfolio with new variant on offer - the Kiger RXT (O) MT. The Renault Kiger RXT (O) is priced at Rs. 7.99 lakh which is Rs. 26,000 less expensive compared to the previous pricing. It is equipped with features like 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, LED headlamps, alloy Wheels and high center console to name a few. The company has also launched lucrative offers on RXZ, including benefits up to Rs. 10,000 cash, Rs. 20,000 under exchange, corporate benefits up to Rs 12,000 and loyalty benefits up to Rs 49,000.
Renault Kiger portfolio boasts of safety features which include Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Traction Control System (TCS), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) to name a few. Renault Kiger has also been awarded the 4-star safety rating for adult occupant safety by Global NCAP. For driver and front passenger safety, the Renault Kiger comes equipped with four airbags – front and side along with seatbelts with pre-tensioner and load-limiter (for driver occupant). The car also features an impact-sensing door unlock, speed-sensing door lock, 60/40 split rear row seat with adjustable headrests, and ISOFIX anchorage for child seat.
The Renault Kiger is offered in two engine options - a 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit that makes a good 98 bhp of power and 160 Nm of torque and a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated unit that pushes 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. Gearbox options include a five-speed manual transmission, a five-speed AMT for the naturally aspirated engine, and a CVT for the turbo petrol engine. The company also claims a fuel efficiency of 20.62 kmpl.
